Research thoroughly before attending interviews, knowing what an employer is looking for in a potential employee can help you to prepare for an interview. Remember you only have one chance to make a good first impression, and you only have a few minutes to do that in a job interview. You need to make sure everything is alright. Staples Interview Questions Tell me of a time when you had a work experience that bugged you. Tell me about a time when you had a customer that was upset about something another employee had done and was taking it out on you. What did you do about it and what was the outcome? How would you handle a situation if a customer comes in the store dissatisfied about a product that they purchased? Tell me about a time that you weren't able to achieve the goals set for you. How did you handle it? What did you learn from it? Tell me about a challenging situation at work you've overcome. If you are busy with a customer and another one is looking over at you like they need help, what would you do?
I dream to have a gitflow style... Most of it has been rewritten, in a more modern C++11 style, but there is still the old "part" that still use things like MFC, or some C-style stuff, but that part is small, fixed, we don't really touch it anymore for the moment. We have the chance to have a kind of modern multi-plateform CMake/Conan build system, we use good practices like RAII, we have good use of smart pointer and standard one. We have still some problems that need modernisation (eg: we use the rule of three but we should instead use the rule of zero/five, template magic unreadable stuff that should have been operator overloading) but it's bearable. Today, they want to modernise our software in microservices/webservices model and they want us to become an Agile Scrum team. I said I have no problem with that on my side. I would love that because we will now have a way to issue technical debt, refactoring, research and training. We will have a vertical upward way to issue problems and information we didn't had due to legacy and old process.
